We are not aware of opportunities similar to English week here in the USA but we have foreign exchange students and quest lecturers and interaction between Industry and the universities when appropriate.

 The lack of opportunity to converse in English with persons from an English speaking country is a big handicap.  However, this is true of any foreign language taught outside of the environment of that language.  We think the students at Hebei U are doing very well with learning English.

 We believe that the most important thing that American students must learn is how to manage their time.  There are many distractions at an American university and unless the students can discipline themselves to study before getting involved with non study activities he or she will not be able to maintain a high enough grade level to stay in school.
